Eyeheight colour correctors and legalisers embrace three continents for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Murwillumbah , Australia , December 7, 2015 : Eyeheight colour correctors and legalisers returned to the tropical jungle of New South Wales for the latest UK series of the television show I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here. This year's contestants included Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter, Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley, Union J star George Shelley, and boxer Chris Eubank. The UK series, transmitted across the UK ITV network, was won this year by Vicky Pattison.

Eyeheight legalisers will also be used during January 2016 for the German follow-on series, Ich bin ein Star - Holt Mich Hier Raus! which will be transmitted by RTL. The production then moves to the Kruger National Park for the South African series.

Designed for use in live television content creation and post-production, Eyeheight's LE-2M legaliser ensures that incoming signal video is held within the required broadcast colour-space parameters, such as EBU-R103. Incoming SDI or HD-SDI video is auto-detected and the appropriate legalising format then applied.

The LE-2M incorporates six user memories plus common presets. Additional legalisation features include automatic luma overshoot and undershoot suppression together with luma and chroma gain, black level adjustment, hue rotation, adjustable clipping levels and soft-clipping-knee levels. An 'out-of-gamut' indication feed displays overshoot or undershoot severity and shows the user where on the picture any signal correction is being performed. Automatic real-time control of perceptual loudness and true peak level are also provided.

Eyeheight's CC-2M colour corrector allows independent real-time adjustment of red, green and blue component levels, master gain, lift, gamma and hue. A preview output provides a configurable split screen showing processed and unprocessed picture.

The CC-2M has a dedicated control panel which can be used to control up to six plug-in modular colour correction cards in a single-rack-unit intelligent chassis with easy channel switching. Up to eight panels can be networked. The system also includes a maintenance mode to assist installation.

'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!' is a reality television series in which celebrities compete. Originally developed in Britain by ITV Studios and first shown in 2002, it is produced by ITV Studios and licensed globally.  Viewers vote in the first week for bushtucker trials and later for who they want to stay in the camp. Money is raised for charity with a donation being made from every call. The last remaining celebrity, after others have been evicted, is crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.

Eyeheight (www.eyeheight.com) produces broadcast-standard technical compliance plug-ins for use with popular video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro. Eyeheight also designs and manufactures rack-mountable 3G, 3D and HD-SDI processors for video and audio content origination, quality-assurance, post-production, playout and associated areas. This includes audio descriptors, audio loudness conformers, colour correctors, emergency switchers, mixers and keyers, safe area generators, subtitling decoders, text and graphics generators, timecode equipment, video legalisers and widescreen signal generators.
